Forensic engineering is the investigation of materials, products, structures or components that fail or do not operate or function as intended, causing personal injury or damage to property.
Our professional engineers are experienced in product design and analysis and have investigated incidents involving a broad spectrum of equipment and machinery, including manufacturing equipment, construction machines, and medical devices. We also have specialized expertise in the design, manufacturing, and safety of oil field equipment, including drilling and well servicing rigs. We routinely analyze the adequacy and safety of equipment designs, and evaluate compliance with applicable standards and regulations. When required, we are prepared to conduct testing and perform structural and failure analysis using sophisticated finite element modeling and mechanical event simulation.
